StarBlaze Prime NiCrFe-2 is a basic-coated Inconel electrode formulated for high-performance welding of nickel-based alloys and dissimilar metals. Designed for superior resistance to corrosion, scaling, and creep up to 800°C, it delivers exceptional toughness down to cryogenic temperatures (-196°C). With outstanding all-position weldability and metallurgical stability, it is ideal for fabrication and repair of Inconel, Monel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys across extreme service conditions.

- Ideal for welding Inconel to itself, stainless steel, or ferritic-austenitic transitions
- Maintains integrity across thermal extremes from -196°C to +800°C
- Re-dry electrodes at 300°C for 1–2 hours prior to use
- Use minimum amperage to maintain low heat input and avoid microcracking
- Clean and degrease surfaces thoroughly before welding
- Suitable for structural and overlay applications on alloyed steels

Low Carbon. Crack-Resistant. Versatile.
A rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode, E308L-16 is designed for welding austenitic 18/8 Cr-Ni stainless steels. With a low carbon core wire (308LER) and optimized ferrite (~8%), it offers maximum crack resistance, smooth arc characteristics, and superior corrosion resistance. The electrode produces soft fusion with minimal spatter, excellent slag detachability, and aesthetically clean weld beads. Suitable for use at service temperatures from -120°C to +350°C.
