StarBlaze TIG 410NiMo
AWS A5.9: ER 410NiMo | EN 12072: W 13 4
StarBlaze TIG 410NiMo is a TIG rod formulated for welding AISI 410NiMo type martensitic stainless steels. These self-hardening steels typically require preheating and post-weld heat treatment to ensure ductility and avoid cracking. This filler metal offers extra-low carbon levels to enhance weldability and improve resistance to cracking over standard 410 wires. It is commonly used for casting repairs and joining wrought materials in high-strength, corrosion-resistant applications. Preheat and inter-pass temperatures of at least 300°F are recommended. Post-weld heat treatment should not exceed 1150°F to avoid embrittlement.
Diameter: 0.80 mm, 0.90 mm, 1.00 mm, 1.20 mm, 1.60 mm, 2.00 mm, 2.40 mm, 3.20 mm, 4.00 mm
