- Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA / SMAW) on unalloyed and low-alloy steels
- Performs well in all positions (1G/PA, 2F/FB, 2G/PC, 3G/PF, 4G/PE, PF2)
- Low hydrogen iron powder basic coating for excellent crack resistance and toughness
- Suitable for AC and DC+ polarity
- Produces ultra-smooth, finely rippled weld beads with low spatter
- Self-releasing slag and good re-striking behavior
- Recommended for radiographic-quality out-of-position welds, including pipe welding
- Service temperature suitability down to -40 °C

- Base materials: S(P)235–S(P)420, GP240–GP280, L245–L360
- Weld metal hardness: ≤ 200 BHN (max)
- Re-drying conditions:
• HD5: 200–300 °C for 1–2 hrs (5 cycles)
• HD510: 250–350 °C for 1–2 hrs (5 cycles) - Welds maintain strength and ductility in high-H₂ environments
- Suitable for weld joints requiring sour gas resistance and crack avoidance
- Not recommended for short arc conditions or rapid weaving
