STARGOLD DB is a high-performance electrode formulated for repairs and surfacing on hot working tools, forging dies, and high-stress tool steel components. Its weld deposit offers superior toughness, deformation resistance at elevated temperatures, and excellent creep resistance.
Alloyed with Chromium, Nickel, Molybdenum, Vanadium, and Cobalt, this electrode ensures exceptional thermal fatigue resistance and strength retention under continuous high-temperature operations. It is fully machinable with tungsten carbide tools and ideal for use in the forging, press, and die industries.
