Low carbon, basic-coated stainless electrode with ~15% ferrite for welding dissimilar metals (carbon to stainless), high-temperature steels, and as a buffer layer before hardfacing. Offers smooth fusion, refined bead appearance, and reliable slag release for civil engineering, cladding, and structural repairs.

Additional Details
- Use case: Welding low carbon stainless steels to dissimilar materials in pressure vessels, tanks, and piping
- Handling: Redry at 250ā300°C for 1 hour if exposed to ambient conditions
- Storage: Keep electrodes sealed or stored in heated cabinets to avoid moisture pickup
- Limitations: Not recommended for root passes or single-layer surfacing without proper joint design
