On exposure to fire, the coating rapidly expands to form a tough char barrier, preserving circuit integrity and delaying flame spread. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, it adheres well to grouped or individual cables and delivers strong protection against chemicals, water, oil, and heat tested up to 1100°C.
