A moisture-resistant, low hydrogen electrode developed for boiler, pipe, and pressure vessel welding of creep-resistant steels containing 0.5% Mo and 0.5–1.0% Cr. Delivers reliable all-position welds with high arc stability, smooth bead profile, and strong performance both as-welded and after stress relieving. Suitable for high-temperature applications up to 525 °C. Trusted in fabricating cement kilns, chemical vessels, cast steel machinery, and other high-stress structures.

A rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode, E308L-16 is designed for welding austenitic 18/8 Cr-Ni stainless steels. With a low carbon core wire (308LER) and optimized ferrite (~8%), it offers maximum crack resistance, smooth arc characteristics, and superior corrosion resistance. The electrode produces soft fusion with minimal spatter, excellent slag detachability, and aesthetically clean weld beads. Suitable for use at service temperatures from -120°C to +350°C.
