Low Moisture Pickup, Soft Fusion, High Temperature Strength
Rutile semi-basic stainless steel electrode with ~3–8% ferrite for welding 308H type stainless steels used in high-temperature service. Combines low moisture absorption with smooth bead appearance and spatter-free fusion. Enhanced carbon content improves strength and creep resistance in thermal pipelines and petrochemical units.

Additional Details
- Use case: Fabrication and repair of austenitic stainless steels in elevated temperature systems
- Handling: Redry at 300–350°C for 1 hour if exposed to moisture or open air
- Storage: Store in heated oven or keep sealed to prevent hydrogen absorption
- Limitations: Avoid use on stabilised grades unless filler compatibility is confirmed; not intended for cryogenic service
