High Temp Resistant, Smooth Arc, Dissimilar Metal Compatible
Rutile-basic coated stainless electrode with 23Cr–12Ni–0.7Nb alloy system, ideal for welding AISI 309Cb steels, claddings, and joining dissimilar metals. Niobium content improves intergranular corrosion resistance and mechanical performance at high temperature (up to +1000°C). Delivers finely rippled bead, spatter-free arc, and self-releasing slag.

Additional Details
- Use case: Welding 309Cb stainless steel, dissimilar joints, and corrosion-resistant overlays
- Handling: Redry at 250–300°C for 1 hour if exposed to air for extended periods
- Storage: Maintain in heated or low-humidity storage; reseal if opened
- Limitations: Not suitable for root passes in carbon steel pipe; ensure clean joint preparation for optimum corrosion resistance
