LMA Coating, Spatter-Free, For Dissimilar Joints & Buffer Layers
Low carbon rutile-basic electrode with ~15% ferrite, formulated for dissimilar metal welding and high-temperature service. Produces clean, soft-fused welds with low moisture absorption and minimal spatter. Ideal for buffer layer deposition, 18/8 type cladding, and stainless-to-low alloy steel joints.

Additional Details
- Use case: Welding of low carbon 309 stainless steel for buffer layers, dissimilar joints, and high-temp overlays
- Handling: Redry at 250–300°C for 1 hour if exposed to moisture or ambient air
- Storage: Keep sealed or store in heated drying cabinets to prevent hydrogen absorption
- Limitations: Not recommended for corrosive liquid containment or cryogenic-grade service without ferrite balancing
