A cellulosic-coated deep penetration electrode designed for welding high-strength pipelines and structural steels in all positions, including vertical-down using conventional and stove-pipe techniques. Provides a forceful arc, fast freezing slag, and excellent performance across root, fill, and cap passes. Commonly used in field welding with minimal need for electrode re-conditioning.

Used for root, fill, and cap passes in pipelines
- Base materials: L210āL415, X42āX60, API Grades A25 A & B
- Re-drying generally not required; if necessary, dry at 70 °C for 30 minutes (once only)
- Excellent performance for site welding with limited oven access
- Not recommended for low-penetration or cosmetic welds
- Can be used without PWHT, but suitable for 620 °C / 1 hr when required
