An iron powder, low hydrogen basic electrode with H4R moisture-resistant classification—designed for reliable welding of C-Mn microlow and low-alloy steels under structural and offshore conditions. Offers ultra-smooth bead formation, excellent impact performance at sub-zero temperatures, and strong re-strike behaviour in all welding positions. Ideal for critical weld joints exposed to dynamic loads or marine environments.

- Re-drying not usually needed if stored properly
- If required:
• HD5: 60–90 °C for short drying
• HD510: Re-dry at 250–350 °C for 2 hours, max 5 cycles - Not recommended for short arc or high-speed weaving techniques
