A premium basic-coated, iron powder electrode with extremely low moisture pickup (H4R certified), designed for crack-free welding of C-Mn microlow and low-alloy steels. Delivers superior impact toughness down to –50 °C with excellent arc stability and bead appearance in positional welding. Ideal for high-restraint joints, marine environments, and security-critical structural fabrication.

- Re-drying not usually required; if needed, 300–350 °C for 2 hrs
- Ultimate mechanical properties within the 7018-1 classification group
- Not recommended for short arc techniques or excessive weaving
