AWS A5.5: E8018-D3 | EN ISO 18275-A: E 46 4 2 B 32 H5
-50 °C Cold Toughness | Low-Hydrogen Mn-Mo Alloy | Critical Security Joint Reliability
A basic-coated iron powder electrode designed for low-hydrogen welding of Mn-Mo type high-strength steels. Suitable for pressure vessels, restrained joints, and cold climate infrastructure. Delivers superior notch toughness (60 J @ –50 °C), smooth bead appearance, and less than 4.0 ml diffusible hydrogen. Recommended for critical restraint welding and post-weld heat-treated joints. Welds are radiographic quality with excellent resistance to cracking.
