Low Hydrogen Control | Smooth Bead Finish | -50 °C Toughness
A basic-coated, low hydrogen electrode ideal for producing strong, crack-resistant joints in C-Mn microlow and low-alloy steels. Delivers stable arc behavior and fine, smooth weld beads even in positional welding. Excellent for root joint welding and high-restraint structures exposed to sub-zero temperatures. Suitable for applications in offshore, petrochemical, and energy sectors.

- Re-drying conditions:
• HD5: 340–360 °C for 1 hour (max 3 cycles)
• HD510: 300–350 °C for 2 hours (max 3 cycles) - Good slag removal and arc stability during multipass work
- Not recommended for short arc or high-speed weaving
- Excellent strike and re-strike characteristics

Low Carbon. Crack-Resistant. Versatile.
A rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode, E308L-16 is designed for welding austenitic 18/8 Cr-Ni stainless steels. With a low carbon core wire (308LER) and optimized ferrite (~8%), it offers maximum crack resistance, smooth arc characteristics, and superior corrosion resistance. The electrode produces soft fusion with minimal spatter, excellent slag detachability, and aesthetically clean weld beads. Suitable for use at service temperatures from -120°C to +350°C.
